We aim to revolutionize the field of analytical chemistry and biomolecular analysis by merging mass spectrometry and optical spectroscopy into cryogenic ion spectroscopy and making this technology accessible to everyone.
Andrei has deep, cross-functional expertise with a background in applied physics and received PhD in chemistry from EPFL. During his PhD and later as a postdoc, Andrei was actively involved in the development of technology, applications, and instrumentation which paved the road to emerging of CryoSpec Solutions.
Vladimir co-invented the 2D UV-MS fingerprinting technology and its applications during his PhD at EPFL, which are now central to CryoSpec Solutions. In addition, Vladimir is an experienced software developer and data scientist, eager to tackle problems at the cutting edge of technology, including developing new instruments, experimental approaches, and data-driven solutions.
Oleg is EPFL professor, one of the pioneers of Cryogenic Ion Spectroscopy of biomolecules and the co-inventor of 2D UV-MS fingerprinting technology, with deep knowledge and over 30 years of experience in laser spectroscopy, mass spectrometry, intramolecular dynamics and laser isotope separation. Over the years, Oleg has secured numerous grants to independently run his research group at EPFL and has taught several courses to EPFL and UNIL students.
